REQUIRED VIDEO TUTORIALS

There are two sets of tutorials for the Photoshop Learning Module. The first set provides skills to help you complete the Practice Assignments and begin the FIRST Photoshop assignment. The second set will provide skills for assignments 2 and 3.

The videos are available at Lynda.com. To log in at no cost to you, you must sign in through the UMiami Libraries athttp://library.miami.edu/medialab/(Click on the Lynda logo there, then, choose On or Off Campus Access. You will be prompted to sign in to Lynda.com using your regular myUM (email) login ID & password. (The first time you use the lynda.com service you may also be asked to register and create a profile.)

The assigned tutorials can be located by searching lynda.com using the name of the current training (see below). Once you begin watching a training set it will later appear as one of "my courses." You can also click on the hypertext below to go directly to a video IF YOU ARE SIGNED IN FIRST TO LYNDA.COM).

Locate the tutorial set called Photoshop CC for Photographers: Fundamentals
 with Chris Orwig first. You’ll begin here by learning how to work with what Adobe calls "Camera Raw" files in Adobe Bridge.

The Lynda.com videos prompt you to find jpegs and other image files located in the exercise folders as they are used in the demo. These are located in an embedded tab at the content list top.

If you learn well by reading and want a quick overview of the most commonly used PS tools click and you can also go to Tools.
